I subscribe to a service called Mac HelpMate so that I can help you remotely. Need help right now? Are we having trouble scheduling an onsite visit? Live far away? Remote support may be perfect for you. With my remote services, I can log into your computer and help you remotely. My remote services are billed in 15 minute increments at the rate of $95/hr. To use Mac UserMate remote services, you need:
- A Macintosh running OS X that is at least booting up
- A broadband internet connection that can connect to web pages
If both of the conditions above are true, follow the below instructions. First contact us and schedule a remote session. Alternatively, if your need is not urgent and you can leave your machine for a while, please follow the below instructions, and I will be notified that you have requested remote support. Then download MacUserMate. Depending on where your defaut download location is, the file will unzip itself on your desktop. The MacUserMate icon is green. Drag the file to your Applications folder. Then Launch MacUserMate by double clicking. You will see the following:

From the View menu, select Remote Support.

Another window will open. Click Share My Screen. That's it. I'll take control of your machine shortly.

When I am done, I will log myself out. I will not have access to your computer unless you ask me to again by following the above steps.
